Eureka: New Slim Profile for Mill Luminaire

October 21, 2024

Eureka recently announced the addition of a 9.5″ slim-profile version of its Mill luminaires.

Mill is a range of acoustic luminaires in diverse formats, sizes and mounting options. Its unique aesthetic enables designers to make a statement, while reducing ambient noise in modern spaces . Felt blades create a cylindrical shape, which traps and absorbs sound within the luminaire’s hollow center.

The new low-profile height complements the existing 14″, 24.5″, and 35″ heights. And it may be selected in diameters of 14.5″, 25″, 36″, and 47″. The slim format allows for low-ceiling applications, giving designers even more flexibility to create a consistent lighting aesthetic across a variety of spaces.

Powerful and evenly diffused downlight is offered in multiple outputs, ranging from 3,432 to 14,641 delivered lumens. Mill luminaires are available in pendant or surface mount; the pendant has an optional second light source for uplight. Both light sources can be dimmed separately.

In addition to 14 standard acoustic material colors, Mill is offered in 16 premium colors. And when extra sound absorption is needed, Mill may also be specified as unlit. Designers can mix and match lit and unlit with varied colors and sizes to create clusters that illuminate large spaces while helping to absorb sound.
