Aculux: All-New 5° Precision Spot

October 21, 2024

Aculux recently announced the launch of its latest innovation, the very narrow 5° Precision Spot. This very narrow beam spot, designed specifically for high-ceiling spaces, sets a new standard in lighting control, enabling the spotlighting of objects from afar with unparalleled precision.

TIGHT TO TARGET

The new 5-degree spot takes Aculux precision a step further by providing a very narrow beam that is ideal for high-ceiling spaces where illuminating items from a distance is a necessity. Whether the goal is to create elegant pools of light for wayfinding, graze long, narrow columns, or accent high ceilings, the 5-degree distribution ensures every target is highlighted with minimal field light.

Key Features of the All-New 5° Precision Spot:

  • Delivers a powerful punch of light (32,000 CBCP) from a 3” aperture (available in both round and square options).
  • Superb color mixing and beam control, ensuring consistent and precise lighting.
  • High lumen output: 550 lumens.
  • Color temperature options available in 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, and 4000K at 90 CRI.
  • Wide range of dimming options – includes nLight for versatile lighting control.
  • 2-Step binning
  • Glare-free design: 45-degree visual cutoff keeps the ceiling quiet and glare-free.
  • Creates a dramatic effect on points of visual interest, elevating the space with a more intimate and sophisticated feel.
  • Compatible with all existing AX3 trims.

The 5° Precision Spot is designed to meet the demands of architects, lighting designers, and engineers who require precise and high-quality lighting solutions for high-ceiling applications. By providing superior control and a powerful yet discreet lighting solution, the 5° Precision Spot enhances the visual appeal and functionality of any space.
