A variety of Viscor LED products are now rated for hazardous locations. Hazardous locations are defined as areas that may be at risk of fire or explosion in the presence of
- Class I: Flammable gases, vapours, or liquids
- Class II: Combustible dust
- Class III: Ignitable fibres
In a location where a classified hazard:
- Division II: does not normally exist but is possible to appear under abnormal conditions
