Bottom line… while it was a hot summer, it wasn’t hot for the lighting market. Highlights from Acuity’s earnings call include ‘growth’ net sales in lighting, as well as a margin expansion, by 1.1% (but it grew!), the increase being “driven by improvements in the majority of channels but primarily being the result of higher net sales in the corporate accounts channel, and a shared number of new product launches, including Holophane’s Holobay.
