Daintree Hires Director, IoT Ecosystem

Kris D. Kimble has been appointed by Daintree Networks as its Director, IoT Ecosystem. Kris has many established relationships in the lighting and controls business from having worked extensively in sales and business development at IBM, Motorola and GE.

Kris’ role will be to focus on building Daintree’s inventory of sensor devices to enable the all-important data analytics that improve decision making for commercial and industrial customers. Daintree looks forward to his contributions as he expands its portfolio of “things” and increases Daintree’s ecosystem channel partnerships to position the business for further growth in the Enterprise Internet of Things (E-IoT) market.

Daintree Networks offers smart building control, sensing, and E-IoT applications featuring an open, future-proof networked wireless and software solution. Customers are in the retail, commercial, and industrial sectors.

Jamie brings 25 years of experience in the lighting and electrical industry, most notably serving as the Director of Sales for a local lighting agency in British Columbia. With an extensive network of industry relationships, Jamie has built strong, lasting connections with consultants throughout the Lower Mainland, particularly with architects and interior designers. His deep expertise in lighting solutions, specification, and project execution makes him a valuable addition to the Mac’s II Agencies team.
