CME SMART Program Grant Awards Viscor $100,000 Grant

On March 1, 2016, Viscor Inc. was awarded a $100,000 grant from the Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters (CME) through the CME SMART Advanced Technologies for Global Growth program, to use toward the purchase of equipment and state-of-the art machinery for the production of LED and fluorescent lighting.
Established in 1952, Viscor Inc. specializes in LED and fluorescent lighting products and metal fabrication, and has been manufacturing products under the Visioneering, Certolux and TBR Lighting Brands.

The grant was presented to Viscor Inc. by Bardish Chagger, Minister of Small Business and Tourism, along with Ahmed Hussen, Member of Parliament for York South-Weston.
This grant will aid Viscor Inc., Canada’s largest independent LED and fluorescent lighting manufacturer, to grow and expand as a company, as well as increase competitiveness in the global economy.
