Health Canada Warns of Potential Safety Hazards with Some Seasonal Lights

Health Canada is warning consumers of defects with some seasonal lights that may pose potential safety risks.
Health Canada initiated a national sampling and evaluation project to test seasonal lights due to a number of incident reports received by the department. Testing by Health Canada has shown hazards in several products that may pose a number of risks to consumers including overheating, as well as fire and electric shock.
The following recalls have been issued by various companies. Health Canada will update this list if there are additional recalls related to the seasonal lights sampling project.
