A gold award went to the adorne Portable Nightlight Flashlight won gold. Silver awards went to the adorne Pop-Out Outlet, Touch Dimmer and Wave Switch.

The IIDEX awards are the latest in a series of honours achieved by adorne. Other awards include a 2013 Bronze Award at the International Design Excellence Awards (IDEA) competition, and the 2013 People’s Choice Award at HI Connect Design.

“We’re thankful to receive these coveted wins, which tell us that we have truly raised the bar in our market,” says Philip Prestigomo, Legrand’s director of industrial design for North America. “Diligent research has led us to several conclusions, including how much opportunity there is in reinventing household lighting controls—a fundamental aspect of the home which has seen little design and technological innovation in the last 100 years.”
