Pebble Series from AND Light Studio

May 5, 2023

The Pebble series celebrates the inexplicable and beautiful qualities of stones. Enhancing their simple yet sculptural form through translucency, glass blown shapes create a seemingly bespoke fixture—endlessly evolving in shape as it appears from different angles.

Pendant

The Pebble series celebrates the inexplicable and beautiful qualities of stones. Enhancing their simple yet sculptural form through translucency, two glass blown shapes come together entering a dialogue. The result is a seemingly bespoke pendant fixture—endlessly evolving in shape as it appears from different angles.

Both glass forms are connected to one another with a machined aluminum LED holder and heat sink; allowing the forms to sit close to one another in harmony—while housing the electrical connections and suspension system. One side is twice as bright as the other, allowing for the combination of large and small forms with consistent light output.

Always a combination of two glass blown forms each with three possibilities for finishes, the pebble allows for the individual to extract their personal collection.

Linear Pendant

A procession of lights elongates the luminaire through the space in which it inhabits, emphasizing range. Multiple canopies can be positioned in sequential order to extend the fixture in response to the spatial allowances of any given setting.

Chandelier

Exquisite compositions of Pebble Pendants create radiant chandeliers emphasizing range and grandeur as they inhabit a space. The configuration of pendants from a multipoint canopy accentuates the Pebble’s organic silhouette and soft contours as they appear to pulsate in unison, radiating a mesmeric aura.

3 Arrangements, 4 Finishes

Chandeliers are arranged in three configurations—helix; double helix; and cluster suspended from either a grey, white or black powder-coated canopy. The configurations are available in slate, citrine, pearl, or an assortment of finishes.

Cluster 5 – Slated

At varying lengths, a voluminous cluster of Pebble Pendants descends from a multipoint canopy in constant rhythmic formation. The delicate staggering of pendants in suspension creates an illusion of transcendental stones levitating above; each distinctive collection imparts upon the viewer, a poetic illumination.

Helix 6 – Citrine

A ribbon of lights cascades downwards, emphasizing a majestic ceiling-to-floor compilation of pebble pendants united by a single round canopy. As an ensemble of pendants enter in dialogue to create a sculptural chandelier, it descends upon the room with seraphic eloquence.

Double Helix 9 – Pearl

The double helix formation is defined by two twisting arrangements gestured into an embrace. The exquisite compositions in their dancelike sequence, entrances us into a world of movement and light.

Table

Two resting river rocks are balanced upon one another—a smooth rounded organic glass form illuminates atop a cast concrete base.

The Pebble Table Lamp is available in four different glass shapes in three colours. Each combination is unique as the resulting orientation is always different as the glass threads onto the base with the LED module. The Table Lamp is dimmable, allowing for the light output to adjust to the user’s desire
