TE Connectivity brings smart solutions for indoors and outdoors to Lightfair International 2019

LDS TE Lightfair 400

May 8, 2019

Lightfair is a showcase for the lighting industry’s latest product and technology offerings, with exhibitors focusing on everything from LEDs to lighting controls to intelligent lighting. This show is now in its 30th year, and TE has always been a big part of the show. This time, the company’s booth, #1949, will have four focus areas, dedicated to lighting indoors, outdoors, and on the street, lighting controls and in horticulture.

During the show, TE’s experts will be on hand to discuss this broad range of topics. Additionally, there will be presentations on the booth about LED lighting controls, RFI effects on lighting equipment and LED lighting as a communication source.

In the outdoor and street lighting area, TE will show “harsh connectivity” control solutions that enable a safer, sustainable and more connected future. Visitors can also learn about the company’s connectivity solutions to cut complexity in LED lighting architecture. Among the product groups being highlighted are LUMAWISE Endurance S Zhaga Book 18 connectors and LUMAWISE Endurance N NEMA/ANSI C136.41-compliant dimming receptacles.

In the indoor lighting area, visitors will find plug-and-play interconnection solutions for LED lighting that answer the need for more intelligent lighting systems. Products featured include innovative LUMAWISE LED holders with snap-in LED retention, and Light-n-Lok tool-free wire-to-wire connectors for ballast disconnect and other applications.

Connectors, relays, filters and power cabling to help plant-growing customers bring lighting ideas to life will be demonstrated in the horticultural lighting area. TE has connector, relay and filter solutions that can help in creating a fine maze network of power-cabling to the lights needed for vertical farming.

For lighting controls, TE will show economical and easy-to-install solutions that deliver brighter illumination in smaller, longer-lasting and more efficient designs, in even the harshest environments. One spotlight will be on CORCOM MRI LED Lighting Filter that will clean up conducted electromagnetic interference (EMI) noise with installation flexibility.
