OWEN VANDEVELDE

December 13, 2017

EiKO Global, LLC, has announce that Owen VandeVelde, LED Product Manager, has been elected as a member of the DesignLights Consortium Industry Advisory Committee. Candidates were elected to the committee by industry peers.

As part of the DLC IAC, VandeVelde will collaborate with other industry experts to support DLC’s strategic direction as well as provide valuable input to DLC as they continually update their standards and practices to advance energy saving lighting technology.

“It is an honor to represent EiKO as a member of DLC’s Industry Advisory Committee and my goal is that EiKO becomes a leading voice in the solid state lighting market,” said VandeVelde.

VandeVelde joined EiKO in April 2017, overseeing EiKO’s LED fixture portfolio and product development efforts. VandeVelde previously worked at HE Williams, where he served as a Product Development Engineer, responsible for leading the design of outdoor LED fixtures and tunable lighting.

VandeVelde will be serving on the DLC IAC through 2019. With his extensive background in solid state lighting, VandeVelde will be a valuable asset to the IAC. In addition, VandeVelde will allow EiKO to have a greater contribution to DLC’s mission and standards, and allow EiKO to better serve its customers.
