Lumenpulse Evolves into the Lumenpulse Group

October 10, 2016

Lumenpulse Evolves into the Lumenpulse GroupLumenpulse Inc., a leading pure-play specification-grade LED lighting solutions provider, has rebranded itself as the Lumenpulse Group.

The rebranding enables the LED luminaire manufacturer to present all its recent strategic acquisitions as distinct brands, offering a complete portfolio of lighting solutions to the architectural specification market.

“Bringing our brands under the Lumenpulse Group banner is an acknowledgment that we now have a comprehensive offering and that we have focused our strategy to better capitalize on each brand’s full potential,” says François-Xavier Souvay, President and CEO of the Lumenpulse Group. “This realignment allows the brands to further innovate and excel in their respective markets, while leveraging the Lumenpulse technology portfolio.”

The group encompasses five brands, each one serving a distinct sector of the lighting industry:

  • Lumenpulse, high-performance exterior and interior LED luminaires
  • Lumenalpha, indoor architectural LED downlight and track systems (formerly AlphaLED)
  • Lumenarea, LED urban, pedestrian-scale and professional landscape lighting (formerly SDL Lighting)
  • Exenia, indoor architectural technical-decorative luminaires
  • Fluxwerx, high-performance general and commercial LED lighting

The move reflects Lumenpulse’s desire to reinforce the strong entrepreneurial approach and character of each brand.

“Lumenpulse’s five brands each have their own set of strengths and values, which are vital to their growth. Uniting under one group captures the essence of each brand’s innovative thinking and strengthens Lumenpulse’s positioning to offer a full suite of solutions for architectural specification-grade lighting applications,” says Mr. Souvay.

The rebranding also coincides with the launch of the company’s new website, showcasing the Lumenpulse Group’s complete range of lighting solutions. The updated website, organized by brand and by region, becomes a powerful tool for clients and partners looking for quick access to the most accurate and relevant information.

“The new website and branded sub-sites truly reflect our passion, commitment to innovation, and our continued desire to better serve our network of agents, distributors and the international specifier market,” adds Mr. Souvay.

The new name is effective immediately, and has been implemented across all of the brands’ websites.
